Interior Review of the 2024 Ford Expedition

The 2024 Ford Expedition has a spacious 172 cubic-foot passenger cabin with three rows of seating. Third-row seats are roomy enough to accommodate adult passengers. A captain's chair is also available for some trims. However, replacing the second-row bench with individually adjustable seats reduces the total capacity to seven.

The lower trims come with cloth upholstery and dual-zone climate control, while the higher trims feature leather upholstery and tri-zone climate control. Plenty of storage space is available in the cabin, including pockets, cup holders, and door pockets on all trims. A center console box for storage and an overhead console with map lights are also standard.

If all three rows are in use, the 2024 Ford Expedition has a cargo capacity of 19 cubic feet. You can fold the third and second rows using a power-folding feature for an array of passenger and cargo combinations. You can split-fold the seats to create over 100 cubic feet of cargo space. As a result, bringing home oversized items like a new BBQ grill or wardrobe is a piece of cake.

Ford's Sync 4a infotainment system has over-the-air updates available. Therefore, Ford may upgrade your Expedition's infotainment system later to include new and exciting functionality.

Exterior Review of the 2024 Ford Expedition

The 2024 Ford Expedition is largely unchanged from the 2023 model except for a new paint color. All trim levels feature LED headlights with automatic high beams.

You can also get an exterior lighting system that creates a perimeter around the Expedition. Many features, including this lighting system, can be controlled via the FordPass® app. A power-operated tailgate with hands-free opening is also available in some trims.

Power and Performance of the 2024 Ford Expedition

The 2024 Ford Expedition features an impressive 3.5-liter V-6 engine. In most trims, this Ecoboost turbocharged engine makes 380 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. However, if you opt for the Limited trim, it generates 400 horsepower and 480 pounds-feet of torque.

The Timberline and Limited trims offer the highest output with the optional Stealth Package. In this configuration, the engine produces 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. The Stealth package also includes a dual exhaust and sports suspension system.

All trims include rear-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Timberline trim, which is geared toward off-road adventures, comes standard with 33-inch off-road tires and skid plates.

All trims feature a rotary gear shift dial, while some add paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Depending on the trim and specification, the Expedition can tow up to 9,200 pounds.
